📖 Bible Translation Project 📖

In March 2024, we officially launched the translation of the Action Bible into Polish Sign Language (PJM) with Pioneer Bible Translators (PBT). After over a year and a half of hard work, our 6-person team — most of whom are currently based in Gdynia — has made incredible strides. Two families relocated to help establish this project, and we’re seeing God’s faithfulness in every step. Praise God for His provision! He is GOOD ❤️

🎓 CFN Bible School & PBT Training 🎓

June 2024: Our second CFN graduation! Despite challenges, God sent lecturers, Deaf and Hearing, from across the globe to fill in. We’re now considering different options of what the future will look like for the Deaf Bible School. There are a few potential students interested so we’ll see how God will lead us. 🙏🏻

July 2024: PBT’s Deaf Director came with his team for training and got access for us to show the new movie from June 2024, “Jesus: A Deaf Missions Film,” now being shown across Poland!

the Gospel comes alive for Deaf in Poland – 🎬 Jesus: a deaf missions film 🎬

We are excited to share that Jesus: A Deaf Missions Film, performed completely in American Sign Language with Polish subtitles (prepared by our Joy Church worship leader), has now been shown in more than 12 cities across Poland. The cities we have visited include Kraków, Tczew, Gdansk, Wrocław, Warsaw, Rzeszów, and Elblag, just to name a few.

So far, over 750 people have experienced the Gospel in a clear, heart-language way, and many hearing people are being made aware of this beutiful community of people. Requests keep coming in for showings. This fall we have already shown the movie in Katowice and Bydgoszcz, and plan to show it in Poznań and Olsztyn in the next two months. Many are asking to have it shown again or for the first time in their cities!

From Poznań to Gran Canaria — God is Moving! 🌍🔥

This year and a half has been full of ministry highlights:

In May 2024 two from the Deaf community were baptized in Rzeszów! Later that month, a woman from Warsaw gave her life to Christ at the European Deaf Women’s Conference that all our women went to together and were encouraged. We have assisted conferences in Poznan, Kraków (with our Deaf Ukrainian friends), Wrocław and Łódź.

In Gdynia in February 2025 we hosted a Valentine’s event. Then we hosted a Men’s Conference where four men gave their lives to Christ, and a Women’s Conference in March.

In May 2025, a group of 14 from Poland attended the European World Deaf Assemblies of God Conference in Gran Canaria — where two more men from our group committed their lives to Jesus!

August 2025 we took part in organizing the first ever Polish Christian Deaf Camp in Kopanica (Eastern Poland near Suwałki). Besides having excellent weather and a great time learning and playing together, the two teenagers that were with us decided to give their lives to Christ as well! 👐 Calling all interpreters and CODAs!

As of July 2025 potential interpreter mentorship began online with 3 young CODA believers from Warsaw, Rzeszów, and Gdansk—true gems in progress. With your help we were able to send one CODA, Iwona, to the Interpreter Training Camp in Olsztyn in July. It was a truly eye-opening experience for her and a time of reconnection with fellow interpreters for me when I went to visit her during the camp. Please keep them all in your prayers as the battle is on! 🙏🏻 We are also praying for more interpreters to come to know and grown in Christ, to support the budding Deaf church plants in cities all over Poland.

🩺 Health Challenges & God’s Grace

In late 2024, I had surgery (gallbladder) and then almost 2 months later I broke my right hand—while two of the interpreters I mentor also faced right hand/arm injuries! Coincidence? I don’t think so. It’s been a tough season, but God is carrying us through, and we keep going forward, together, stronger and with His help. Please keep us in your prayers for complete healing and further protection. 🙏🏻 The battle belongs to the LORD!

The GREAT MOVE is happening

Just this past Sunday we had our first trial service in our new building location. Over 350 people were present counting children and volunteers. Standing room olny!!! What a beautiful celebration of God’s faithfulness. Thank you to all that took part in supporting this project in whatever possible way. Do keep us in your prayers as we move in to our final lap and as this place becomes a lighthouse of hope and JOY for many! 🙏🏻 ❤️
